Leanna and Pete are a really nice couple from Kelowna BC who came out for a low key Whistler wedding with their friends and family. Being big skiers, they had the ceremony at the Olympic Inukshuk at the Roundhouse at the top of Whistler Mountain. It was a beautiful day, with 20cm’s of fresh snow.
Pete didn’t want to put a pin through his gore-tex jacket, so wedding planner Linda Marshall pinned his boutonniere to the zipper’s pull strap instead.
Dinner was at the Edgewater Lodge in Whistler, so I stopped by later that afternoon to get some shots of Leanna and Pete in their wedding clothes. The Edgewater is one of my favourite local venues, and really has a lot of cool places for photos.
Pete’s green gore-tex jacket was so bright that it actually cast a green glow onto Leanna’s skin. I had to add about 15 points of magenta to colour correct it out. Something you don’t have to do that often.
