Whistler Editorial Photography Wrap-Up
Meg (Ms. Re-Use_it) Pratt-Johnson wears a costume made up entirely of items found at the Whistler Re-Use-It Centre. At the Whistler Intercultural Festival.
It’s been pretty quiet for me over the last few weeks. The winter season is long over, the summer wedding season doesn’t kick off until the middle of July this year, later than usual. That’s not to say I haven’t found things to fill my time. I’ve been shooting editorial photos for the Whistler is Awesome web page, and the Whistler Question newspaper. It’s great to get back to my roots.
A family portrait in my studio for my friends Tim Koshul, Maria Lundgren, and Baby Ella.
A competitor at the Whistler Tough Mudder event.
The Sojourners, in concert at the Whistler Olympic Park.
Dancers wait in the wings at the VIBE Dance Studio Ordinary Miracles Show.
Alexander Falls, near the Whistler Olympic Park.
And finally, Canada Day fireworks.
Tech Stuff
The family portrait with tim and Maria was lit with my new favourite lighting tool, an 84″ Paul Buff PLM reflector, which is basically a six foot tall silver umbrella. Definitely going to have to do a dedicated blog posting for this sometime.
