Becky and Darren are a really nice couple from the UK who came out with their family and friends to have a small Whistler wedding at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Resort. My old friend Linda Marshall of Whistler Wedding Planners brought me in to do the photos.

After the wedding, we moved into the main part of the hotel for the portraits.

We had a beautiful evening for some photos around the hotel before everyone sat down for dinner.
A few weeks before the wedding, Becky e-mailed me a photo of a couple lit by sparklers and asked me if I could do up something similar for her and Darren. I was all for it, and asked wedding planner Linda Marshall to get some extra long burning sparklers. I brought a heavy duty tripod, as we would need 15 to 30 second long exposure give the people holding the sparklers enough time to wave the sparklers around enough. I gave them instructions to keep moving the whole time in order to not show up in the exposure.
