For the second time in 10 days I found myself at the Brew Creek Centre for a wedding, this time for Leslie and Josh. It was a dark and cloudy day, and that morning there was a terrible rain storm. By the afternoon it had held off, but I ended up spending most of the day with an eye cocked toward the sky in case the clouds opened up again. Despite some thunder and lightning, the rain held off. However, as I drove out to the highway, I could see that it had been raining heavily almost everywhere except on the Brew Creek Centre. I thought to myself that that had to be a good sign.
A nervous flower girl.
Josh signs the wedding register. It’s busy moment because you need to get the tradition signing the register photo, but it’s also a great opportunity to get an unguarded moment just after the ceremony.
Leslie and Josh had this lady come all the way from Kenya to be a guest for the wedding.
The brides maids hung the just married sign in the trapper’s cabin. I thought it was a nice touch, so we made sure to get it in the background of this shot.
An almost identical shot to one I took the week before at the Brew Creek Centre, but it’s such a cool looking, and unique, wall that I had to re-use it.
Just before they got announced for dinner.
